As REV's Educational Specialist, Miranda supports students in both of our locations. She works as a communication teacher providing 1:1 communication and educational instruction for students and families. She has also developed our Co-Op program and continues to teach as the lead instructor. Miranda also supports families and schools with IEP review and development, as well as in-school coaching and consultation.

Miranda has been involved in the autism community since she was a young girl and was inspired by her brother Richie to pursue a career in Special Education. Miranda received her Bachelor's degree in Special Education from Towson University and taught as an Inclusion Teacher in Baltimore County Public Schools for 8 years. She earned a Master's degree in Administration at Goucher College.
Richie opened Miranda's mind and heart to the wonderful world of text-based multimodal communication and inspired her to intern with Reach Every Voice in 2018. She joined the team in a part-time capacity after completing her internship and became the full time Educational Specialist in 2022. In the fall of 2022 Miranda completed the Communication for Education 8 week training program, and has joined the CFE Instructional Team as an Online Course Instructor.
